Hi, hello everyone. My name is Yuki Matsui.Hola, que onda todos. Mi nombre es Yuki Matsui.
You can call me Yuki, Mats, Matcha, or whatever.
First of all, I would like to thank all the people who supported me to have this moment today.
The team partners and general manager AJ, thank you for trusting me and giving me this chance.
And my agents, Michael, Brian, and Koya. I'm so grateful for your amazing support to make this happen.
And my wife, Anna, also encouraged me a lot to make this major life decision for the entire family. Thank you, love you.
Now, I'm so excited to join such an amazing team like Padres.

Secondly, I would like to thank my parents. My former team, Tohoku Rakuten, Golden Eagles, and all my fans who supported me for 10 years in Japan.
